The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a recruitment notification for the post of RRB JE 2024. The advertisement notification was announced on 18 June 2024. According to the notification, the RRB is going to fill a total of 7911 vacancies for the post of Junior Assistants.

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced to fill vacancies in the posts of Junior Engineer (Safety and Non-Safety), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical Supervisor and Metallurgical Supervisor.
RRB JE Notification 2024
RRB has announced the short notification for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) on 18th June 2024 on its official website. We know that the Railway Recruitment Board has released its annual calendar for RRB recruitment in 2024. According to the calendar for the post of Junior Engineer, the application process is expected to start in July-September.

A total of 7911 vacancies have been announced for the upcoming recruitment of RRBs for JE and other posts. The number of vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer is higher compare to than other posts.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to participate in the recruitment process, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Railway Recruitment Board.
Education Qualification
Applicants must have a degree or diploma degree in engineering. For the post of Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science stream with Physics and Chemistry.
Age Limit
To be eligible for RRB JE Vacancy 2024, minimum age limit is 18 and upper age limit is 33 years. Also, age relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates as per the government norms.
Application Fee
Candidates who want to apply for RRB Junior Engineer (JE) or any other post will have to pay the application fee.

- On the homepage, navigate to the ‘Recruitment’ section.
- Next, choose region in which you are going to apply.
- Now, click on the application link and application form window will open.
- Fill the application form with the required details and upload the scanned copy of the documents.
- Click on ‘Proceed to Payment’, it will redirect you to the payment page and submit the application fee.
- Double-check the details and hit the Submit button.

RRB Junior Engineer Selection Process
RRB JE Recruitment Process 2024, consists of 4 stages which will be completed by the following phases.
Stage 1: CBT-1
- Computer Based Test (CBT 1) is considered as a qualifying nature for shortlisting for the first round.
- CBT-1 exam will consist of 100 objective questions, each carrying 1 mark, with a duration of 90 minutes.
Stage 2: CBT-2
- Candidates who clear the cut-off marks in CBT-1 will have to appear in CBT-2.
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of CBT-2.
- The CBT-2 exam will consist of 150 objective type questions and each question will carry 1 mark, duration will be 2 hours.
Stage 3: Documents Verification
Candidates who qualify CBT-2 will be called for document verification.
Steg 4: Medical Examination
Candidates will have to appear for the medical examination and this will be the final round for selection to the RRB JE recruitment.
